Rehearsal Studios

        At 199 Studios we strive to have the best rehearsal rooms in the city while keeping rates reasonable, (we're musicians as well). Many GTA musicians have already fallen in love with our Main Room, and we are now proud to offer a second space, Room 'B' at an even lower price. We're sure you'll find either room suitable for your needs.

ROOM A

        Rehearsal rooms are primarily booked in 3 hour slots although we can accomodate most other requests. Please check out our rehearsal policy before booking and feel free to contact us with any questions. Below both rooms are described and a list of gear in each room is provided. Please keep in mind that most of the gear can be transferred between the rooms, so if you have a request, please let us know when you book your slot.

Main Room

        The main room has an excellent vibe. It's clean, comfortable, climate controlled, and most importantly, it sounds great. The P.A. system consists of 2 1000 watt Yorkville Pulse cabinets driven by a 1500 watt Yorkville AP4020 power amplifier. The drum set is a 5 piece Gretsch Maple Custom and is ready to play with all hardware, assorted Sabian cymbals, and a Pearl double kick pedal provided. Other featured gear includes:

  • Randall Cyclone head (840 watts) with Peavey 5150 cabinet
  • Yamaha DG100-212 (100 watts)
  • Crate 212 tube amplifier (150 watts)
  • Yorkville Bass Master 400 head (400 watts) with Yorkville 4x10 cabinet
  • Yamaha P200 88 weighted-key electric piano / Yamaha EX7 synthesisor.
  • Yorkville AP4020 amp (1500 watts) / 2 Yorkville Pulse cabinets (1000 watts each)
  • Gretsch Custom Maple (5 piece) / Sabian cymbals / Pearl double kick pedal
  • Remo Tubano djembe / Headliner djembe / assorted maracas and shakers
  • Yorkville MP6 powered mixer (6 track)
  • Assorted handheld mics (Shure, MXL, Apex)

Room B

        The newest addition to 199, Room B is a slightly smaller, cheaper home for your rehearsing needs. The room is acoustically treated and has some additional perks over the Main Room, such as a piano and a digital drum set. Also the P.A. mixer features great sounding vocal effects.
