Rehearsal Policies
Booking
Rehearsal bookings are made either through telephone: (416)-226-4204 or email:
info@199studios.com. Keep in mind that the earlier you try to book a slot, the better your chances at getting your ideal slot.
Slots are booked primarily in 3 hour blocks with weekday evening availability based on 6pm - 9pm and 9pm - 12am slots. We will
also book 2 hour blocks but please keep in mind that these weekday evening bookings must be either before or after 9pm, (6pm - 8pm, 7pm - 9pm,
9pm - 11pm, etc...) Weekends and weekdays before 6pm, bookings are only subject to availability and we will book after midnight as well. It is also possible to book a time slot
on a more permanent basis. If your band has a time it can commit to every week for example, you can lock up your slot as far in advance as you like.
At 199 Studios, we do understand how difficult it can be to always get the full band out to practice. We also feel however that bands need to take some responsibility for bookings they make. We have recently adopted a new cancellation policy whereby we require 36 hours notice to cancel a booking without penalty. Cancellations made within those 36 hours will require that the band pays 1/2 of the cancelled booking upon their next visit. If for whatever reason the studio has to cancel a booking and 36 hours notice is not given, the band will be entitled to their next session free of charge.
Weekdays before 6pm, please park in the studio driveway to avoid any meter charges. After 6pm and on weekends there is free street parking on both sides of Fennell Street. (Fennell and Sheppard is only one door over from the studio.) Feel free to use the studio driveway to unload and load gear, but because there is only one lane, parking in the drive usually results in cars having to be shuffled around.
